  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon swirl
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a loaf pan.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
  4. In another bowl, combine melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and fold gently.
  6. Fold in the diced apples.
Cinnamon Swirl Assembly
  1. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
  2. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle with cinnamon mixture, and top with remaining batter.
  3. Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Allow to cool before slicing.
