  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces Use fresh chicken for best texture.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch For crispiness.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season chicken as desired.
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Can use easy or gourmet mayo.
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce Adds sweetness and spice.
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha Adjust for spice preference.
  • for garnish Green onions Chopped, for serving.
Skewers
  • as needed Wooden or metal skewers If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes beforehand.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Thread the chicken onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
Cooking
  1. Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  2. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and crispy.
Saucing and Serving
  1. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to make the Bang Bang sauce.
  2. Drizzle the sauce over the cooked skewers or serve on the side for dipping.
  3. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For a kid-friendly version, reduce the amount of sriracha in the sauce. Leftover sauce can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
