Ingredients

Seafood Ingredients
  • 2 pieces lobster tails, split and cleaned
  • 8 large sea scallops, patted dry
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter divided

Method

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the lobster tails to the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and lobster meat is opaque.
  3. Remove lobster tails and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and let it melt.
  5. Add the scallops and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve the lobster tails alongside the scallops, drizzled with the melted butter from the pan.

Notes

Ensure that seafood is dry before cooking for a perfect sear. Don't overcrowd the pan and consider adding a spritz of lemon before serving for added brightness.
