Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, chicken, broccoli, sour cream, garlic powder, and half of the cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and pour the chicken broth over it.
- Top with the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs if using.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Don’t drown the rice in broth; we’re looking for cozy, not soup. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving for better texture.
