- Arrange the Saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Cooking
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar, stirring continuously.
- Allow the mixture to bubble and turn golden brown, then remove from heat.
- Whisk in the heavy cream and vanilla extract until combined.
- Pour the toffee mixture over the arranged Saltines, covering them completely.
- Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with ground cinnamon and powdered sugar.
- Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.

For a gluten-free option, substitute Saltines with gluten-free crackers. Store leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
