  • 2–3 pieces jalapeños, diced Remove seeds for less heat.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar is classic; half cream cheese for velvet.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste none Salt
  • to taste none Pepper
  • as needed none Crackers, veggie sticks, or tortilla chips for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, diced jalapeños, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until bubbling and golden on top.
  6. Serve warm or chilled with crackers, veggie sticks, or tortilla chips.

Notes

For a crunchy top, broil for an extra 1–2 minutes but watch closely. This dip can be made ahead and reheated. For a less spicy version, de-seed the jalapeños or use less.
