- Boil pasta until al dente, then reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Season and brown diced chicken in butter; set it aside.
- Sauté onion until translucent, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, and simmer; then stir in cream and Parmesan until the mixture is silky.
- Return the chicken to the pan, add pasta, and loosen the sauce with reserved pasta water until the sauce hugs every noodle.
- Finish with Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, parsley, and more butter if desired.
