Dip Ingredients
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Do not use fake cream cheese labeled 'spread'.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce Smooth or whole-berry will work.
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions or chives Adds a nice pop of flavor.
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans Optional for extra crunch.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Stir in the cranberry sauce and mix until well blended.
  3. Add in the chopped green onions and pecans if using.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve with crackers, chips, or veggies.

Notes

Make this dip the night before to enhance the flavors. Pita chips, crackers, and vegetables are great for dipping.
