  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Wedge cheese preferred for better flavor
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Use fresh or store-bought
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley For added flavor
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional for heat

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, garlic, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, salt, pepper, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased baking dish.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  2. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Do not overwork the meat mixture to avoid a dense loaf. Let it rest before slicing to maintain shape. Pair it with gravy if desired for a comforting experience.
