  • 1 log Goat cheese Soft, tangy, spreadable.
  • 1/4 cup Honey Floral, sweet; locally sourced is preferred.
  • 12 pieces Mini pastry shells Pre-baked phyllo or tart shells.
Optional Toppings
  • 1/4 cup Chopped nuts Walnuts, pecans, or pistachios for crunch.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh herbs Thyme, rosemary, or chives; finely chopped.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven according to the pastry shell package instructions.
  2. Place the pastry shells on a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  3. Fill each shell with a generous amount of goat cheese, allowing it to soften for easier spreading if needed.
  4. Drizzle honey over the cheese to taste.
  5. Optionally, sprinkle with chopped nuts or fresh herbs.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 8–12 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve these bites warm for the best experience. They can also be prepared in advance and baked just before serving.
