- Bring a medium saucepan of vegetable broth (or water) to a boil.

- Fluff couscous with a fork after it has absorbed the liquid.
- Mix in sautéed garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil before serving.
Notes
This dish can be stored in an airtight container, but it's best enjoyed fresh. For a vegan option, skip the cheese and add nutritional yeast for extra flavor.
