  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Panko recommended for better texture.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can use any available brand.
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley Fresh parsley adds brightness.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg To bind the mixture.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For frying.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and egg.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form mixture into patties.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.

Notes

You can refrigerate patties for up to 24 hours or freeze them uncooked for a month. Sear for a crispy edge. Pro tip: Press a slight thumb indent in the center of patties for even cooking.
