  • 2 cups chocolate chips Trader Joe’s or Aldi chocolate chips are recommended.
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter Creamy for even coating; avoid natural peanut butter.
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter Adds creamy texture.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor depth.
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar Shaken or sprinkled for dusting.

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and creamy peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  2. Stir in the unsalted butter and vanilla extract until the mixture is creamy and well-blended.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, pour the Rice Krispies cereal and drizzle the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over it, folding gently to ensure even coating.
  4. Spread the coated cereal mixture onto a lined baking sheet and allow to cool for about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Transfer the cooled mixture into a resealable plastic bag, add the powdered sugar, and shake until the bars are evenly coated.
  6. Cut into squares and serve. Enjoy your crunchy-sweet treats!
