For the Crust
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs Use high-quality graham cracker crumbs.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted For the best flavor, use unsalted butter.
For the Filling
  • 2 packages cream cheese Use full-fat cream cheese for best results.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream Whip until stiff peaks form.
For Topping
  • to taste Fresh strawberries Choose strawberries that look fresh and appealing.

Method
 

Crust Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch pan to form the crust.
Filling Preparation
  1. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
Assembly
  1. Spread the cheesecake filling over the crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
Serving
  1. Before serving, top with fresh strawberries. Cut into bars and enjoy!
