Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the potatoes as thinly as possible using a mandoline or sharp knife.
- In a bowl, mix the sliced potatoes, olive oil, balsamic glaze, salt, pepper, and thyme.
Cooking
- Layer the potato slices in a greased pie dish, overlapping them.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding cheese or experimenting with sweet potatoes instead.
