Raspberry Chocolate Lasagna

Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 20-25 cookies Oreo cookies Purchase store-brand if feeding a crowd.
  • 6 tablespoons Butter Melted.
Chocolate Layer
  • 1 package Chocolate pudding mix Follow package instructions for preparation.
  • 1 cup Milk Used for the pudding.
  • 1/2 cup Cool Whip For folding into the chocolate layer.
Raspberry Layer
  • 1 cup Cool Whip For raspberry layer.
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese Softened.
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Raspberries Fresh or frozen.
  • 2 tablespoons Milk For the raspberry layer.

Method
 

Prepare the Base Layer
  1. Crush Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter, then press into an 8×8 Pyrex dish and freeze for 10 minutes.
Make the Chocolate Layer
  1. Prepare the pudding with half the recommended milk, fold in Cool Whip, and spread over the crust.
  2. Freeze for 10-15 minutes.
Create the Raspberry Layer
  1. Mix cream cheese, sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  2. Fold in raspberries and Cool Whip, then spread over the chocolate layer.
Assemble the Dessert
  1. Top the raspberry layer with remaining Cool Whip and decorate as desired.
  2. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

If you skip the chill time, the lasagna will slide like a tiny dessert avalanche. Make ahead for best results. If using frozen raspberries, thaw and drain slightly.
