- Toss with soup mix, salt, and pepper.
- Add broth and butter; give one respectful stir.
- Cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 until tender.
Notes
Don’t add too much broth—aim for creaminess, not a stew. If desired, add butter later for a shiny finish.
