Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and halve potatoes (or leave small ones whole if you enjoy tiny potato faces).
  2. Toss with soup mix, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add broth and butter; give one respectful stir.
  4. Cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 until tender.

Notes

Don’t add too much broth—aim for creaminess, not a stew. If desired, add butter later for a shiny finish.
