Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin) Use a solid cut for best results.
  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, pappardelle, or your choice) Any pasta type can work.
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil Good quality olive oil recommended.
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust to taste.
  • to taste salt Use according to preference.
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper Use to season the steak.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese More can be added if desired.
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
Cooking the Steak
  1. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper and cook it in the pan until desired doneness.
  3. Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest.
Combining the Ingredients
  1. In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add the cooked pasta to the pan, tossing to combine with the garlic and olive oil.
  3. Slice the steak and place it on top of the pasta.
  4. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, then serve hot.

Notes

Don’t forget to scrape up those brown bits in the pan after cooking the steak for extra flavor. For a saucy variation, consider borrowing gravy techniques to enhance comfort.
