Ingredients
  

For the Crunch
  • 1 cup pretzels, chopped You can buy pre-chopped nuts or chop your own.
  • ½ cup pecans, chopped Toasted pecans can be used for extra flavor.
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup melted butter
For the Cream Cheese Mixture
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip style)
For the Salad
  • 2–3 cups strawberries, diced Wash, dry, and dice before adding.

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash, dry, and dice strawberries; set aside.
  3. Mix pretzels, pecans, melted butter, and brown sugar in a bowl until coated.
  4. Spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 7–9 minutes until golden, then cool completely.
Making the Cream Cheese Mixture
  1. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.
  2. Fold in whipped topping.
  3. Gently fold in diced strawberries and cooled crunch.
  4. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a healthier version, consider using less sugar or Greek yogurt for tang. Always let the crunch cool before mixing to avoid a soggy salad.
