- Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for 8-10 minutes until browned and tender.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
- Reduce heat to low and add cream cheese and sour cream, stirring until melted and fully combined.
- Stir in half of the shredded mozzarella and all the grated Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top and transfer skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
- Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley and serve hot with bread, crackers, or veggie sticks.
