  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese Buy decent provolone for best flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the sliced bell pepper and onion; sauté until they are soft.
  4. Place the provolone cheese slices over the chicken and vegetable mixture and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
  5. Split the hoagie rolls and fill them with the chicken and cheese mixture. Serve warm.

Notes

Tip: Tent the skillet with a lid while melting the cheese for better results.
