Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Marinade
  • 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Buy good quality olive oil.
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For Assembly
  • 4 pieces pita breads
  • 1 cup tahini sauce Buy good tahini if possible.
  • 1 cup garlic sauce Essential for flavor.
  • Vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers) for topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate chicken in the spice mixture for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Cooking
  1. Cook marinated chicken in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  2. Warm pita breads.
Assembly
  1. Layer the cooked chicken in the pita breads.
  2. Drizzle with tahini and garlic sauce, and add fresh vegetables on top.
  3. Roll up the pita and enjoy!

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the pan while cooking the chicken for best results. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
