- In a blender or food processor, combine the cottage cheese, cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, milk, and salt.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, or pour it into a container and freeze, stirring occasionally until creamy.
- Once frozen to your desired consistency, serve and enjoy.
Notes
Chilling the mixture before churning makes the ice cream more cooperative. For a twist, fold in dark chocolate chunks before the final freeze.
