  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for flavor.

Method
 

Mixing the Ingredients
  1. In a large bowl, break up the drained tuna with your hands gently.
  2. Add the cottage cheese and fold until combined.
  3. Mix in the diced celery and red onion.
  4. Stir in the Dijon mustard and lemon juice.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. If using, fold in chopped fresh herbs for an aromatic touch.

Notes

This salad lasts 3-4 days in the fridge and tastes even better after a few hours of chilling. Great served in lettuce wraps or on whole-grain bread!
