Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the sweet onions into thin rings.
  3. In a robust baking dish, layer the onion rings.
Cheese Mixture

  2. Spread this cheese mixture over the onion rings.
  3. Dot the top with butter and sprinkle with herbs, salt, and pepper.
